title--quote, unquote from: Anonymous., Motology--a way of life (Karachi: Diocesan Press, 1950), 287
...it happens…Death prevails…and he keeps reminding us of our helplessness. There is absolutely nothing we can do about him…to enmesh him or delay him—nothing at all! And I’m certain I’m sounding like a fool repeating all this…but it’s true and he repeats it himself…
He sees nothing
No children no age
None of your power
No wealth no race
He doesn’t knock
Or ring the bell
His steps just roar
Bringing tears that ripple and rebel
And they rise up as waves of pain
Swelling in with strong scorn and disdain
But such recklessly lethal is his tread
That no life created has ever withstood
The period he puts on its story for good
So it is to be said yet again that
No living soul shall enmesh Death
For he proves all life helpless
And all souls live to die
For life is nothing but a cursed wish…

p.s. base 8's currently on his xmas-leave :-"
p.p.s. please try not to read between the lines...wrote it all in a hurry without really thinking...
any false implications were completely unintentional
