...so I come see this place after three months and this is what has changed…I know, I know it's not that long of a time but to see a change like this it’s…it’s so weird!:… A puddle in the middle of the desert?!!?! What you’re seeing right now is a mirrraccclllee!!! it barely EVER rained all those 15 years here in saudi and people here would LITERALLY pray and beg for rain…like in EVERY prayer…five times a day!—and even after all that it would just drizzle for a few minutes and all the streets would go empty—as if everybody went blank! That too I guess was strange :S but what’s stranger is that we come back home…and on our way back home—it’s raining cows! now all of a sudden its like God just found all those dhl’s in a pile somewhere :S and its almost like…how you suddenly plan to check your inbox and you have all these e-mails and you go on this rapid-fire-replying-spree…:S One thing that hasn’t changed though and I guess wont ever change regardless of time…are the PEOPLE here! Same old stories…crazy cute mad saudi kids playing soccer in the streets…little four-year-olds goal-keeping and the goal being a car’s trunk—*sighs*
THAT can never change :)
now as a side-note; in relation to our philosophy (for those who like things stated): as the theory of irony in motology states, irony itself can be ironically ironic.
